I forgot how much fun we had on this trip to Hornby Island! Great memories and great diving, check out the trip video. Want to go diving in a drysuit? We have an upcoming course in June for pool, classroom, and open water training. Get certified now and enjoy your summer diving in a warm, dry drysuit. Then head out to the coast this winter for some amazing winter diving!
Hornby Island 2014 - Scuba Diving Quick recap of our group dive trip to Hornby Island on September long weekend 2014. Fantastic diving, great weather, fabulous crew and dive group. Only bad part was it was only three days long and we eventually had to go home. Can't wait to return next year! www.TheDiveOutfitters.ca ...
We're less than a year out until our dive trip to Palau and Truk Lagoon! Remembering back to our last trip there in 2016. Still a couple spots left, who's coming along!?!?

Upcoming Equipment Specialist course
Saturday Jan 24th 9am to 5pm
Ever wondered what’s really going on inside your dive gear? This hands-on course takes you behind the bubbles for a deeper, no-nonsense look at how your scuba diving equipment actually works—above water and underwater.
We’ll focus on real-world, in-the-field fixes: the kind of quick repairs and troubleshooting you can do right at the dive site when something decides to misbehave. Think wetsuits, drysuits, BCDs, regulators, tanks, weight systems, and other waterproof essentials that keep your underwater adventures smooth and stress-free. You’ll pick up simple, practical tips and clever tricks to keep your gear happy and dive-ready. (Heads up: this won’t turn you into a certified service technician—but it will turn you into a much more confident, capable diver.)
You don’t need to own gear to join the fun, but this course is highly recommended for divers who do have their own equipment—or anyone eyeing leadership dive courses in the future. Bring along any scuba or snorkeling gear you own and learn the ins and outs of your specific setup.
