Onassis

2019 16.1hh Chestnut gelding

I can’t say enough good things about this horse, he has one of the sweetest personalities in the barn, and always tries his hardest under saddle.

Since he started his career in dressage, Onassis is still figuring out the ropes when it comes to jumping, but he is very eager to please and quick to learn.

He is currently schooling up to 1.0m undersaddle, and has jumped up to 1.20m through the chute with ease.

All About That Bay “Tessa”

2016 TB mare 15.3hh

Sadly outgrown, Tessa has been a great teacher and is ready for her next student!

Tessa has schooled 1.10m at home, but is most happy to stay around 0.90-1.0m in the show ring. This mare is super brave, and despite her smaller size, she has a massive stride that easily gets down the lines.

Tessa is great on the flat, and well schooled on all her lateral work. She has her changes, but they are not automatic just yet.

Has been out on trails and is easy to ride in the fields, she would be happy to give eventing a try!

They not only went around their first 1.10m today, but they WON!

Yesterday was pretty full of everything that makes Christmas special ❤️

An amazing horse got to be the gift for his own little girl, the team enjoyed dressing up for lessons, and we finished the night with an incredible team party.

Incredible weekend in Ponoka at the Pacific Equine Sport show! The 2 young sales horses (Equitop Farm, The Dressage Studio Inc.) put in consistent rounds and learned a ton through the weekend, and these two ladies had excellent rounds every day.
Super proud of the entire Ellingson Equestrian Inc. team. These are the kind of weekends that make me fall in love with my job even more!
