Lately, the R-word has been making a comeback in pop culture and casual conversation—as if we didn’t spend decades fighting to leave it behind.

Let’s be clear: this word isn't edgy or funny. It's harmful. And we refuse to go backwards.

Every time we stay silent, we normalize ableism. But when we speak up, we move the conversation - and our community - forward.

To our bowlers, parents and caregivers. We, thank you for the generous gift this year. We are very grateful for the opportunity to organize each bowling season for this amazing community of people.
