Every January comes with this massive expectation that we’re supposed to flip a switch and suddenly become a whole new person. It sounds exciting in theory… but let’s be honest, most of us are exhausted by week three.
The problem isn’t your goals. It’s the all-or-nothing mindset wrapped around them.
The things that actually stick are the things that feel simple, steady, and workable.
Small habits. Reasonable workouts.
Choices that match the season you’re in — not the season Instagram says you should be in.
And I’ve been building something for end of January that leans into exactly that.
No pressure. No perfection. Just a different kind of support for your wellness… one that feels doable, gentle, and lasts longer than a resolution ever will.

Still catching yourself thinking your workouts only “count” if you go all out, push yourself to the max, or spend hours in the gym?
So many women skip movement because the only version of exercise they’ve ever been taught to value is the intense, all-or-nothing kind.
And if you can’t do that… it feels like there’s no point. The day slips by, and the cycle repeats 🔄
❌ But your body doesn’t need extremes or perfection.
💁♀️ It needs something you can actually fit into a real day - something that supports you, not drains you.
Slow movement counts ✅
Short sessions count ✅
A walk counts ✅
Stretching for five minutes counts ✅
Anything that helps you reconnect with yourself counts ✅
You don’t have to push hard for it to matter.
If you moved in any way today, it mattered.

Most women I talk to feel like they have to follow the *whole* plan, get in the long workouts, or have a “perfect” week - or else it doesn’t count.
But the truth?
Small steps matter.
Gentle consistency works.

Hi friend,
It feels like it’s been a minute.
Honestly.. It’s been a couple of years.
I wasn’t gone… just navigating life, learning a lot, and trying to take care of my health and energy as best I could (and falling off the map where I couldn’t). There were challenges, and still are, but also moments that slowly started sparking something inside me again.
Honestly, my heart, my energy, my routines, all of it needed tending. And lately, I’ve been feeling a little more ready to show up, to create, and to nurture some of the connections here that have always been really meaningful to me.
Maybe you’ve had seasons like that too... Where life gets messy, you fall off the map a little, and then one day you feel a flicker of “okay, I think I feel something here again.”
That’s where I am. Not perfect, not finished - just returning with a little more clarity and excitement than before.
So consider this a light hello. I’m here, easing back in, finding new ways to show up, and getting excited about what that all could look like.

☀️2023 Outdoor Group Training!
It’s been awhile but I’m back offering Summer Outdoor Group Fitness Training. This is a fun, interactive envionrnment that involves semi-small groups of anywhere between 5 and 15 people. Workouts are 1 hour in length. I design each week to be different - challenging both your strength and endurance.
Group Fitness Training will be held outdoors at Minchau Park (in Millwoods) on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm, from June 6th to August 8th, 2023.
🗓️Dates: June 6th to August 8th, 2023 (Tuesdays, 6:30pm)
Cost: $17 Drop In or $157.50 for all 10 Sessions (prices include GST)
*Important: I need 10 people minimum registered by May 26th, 2023 for Summer Group Training in order for this to run.

💭I grow weary of social media. We see that “they have it all figured out” & feel the pressure to present the same. And so the cycle continues… ⠀

Meanwhile, quietly, we feel the pressure to have all the answers, to know exactly where we are going, and when. And I don’t know about you, but in 2020 that illusion of having it all figured out really rocked the boat for me.
So this is me being real in the sense that, these days, this is where I’m at:
💛I don’t really know what the plan is. And to be honest, that is wrapped in so much fear, and at times an overwhelming sense of failure.
😌Most days I feel like a hot mess and learning to be gentle with both my heart and my head feels like a full-time job.
🏡In the challenging or confusing seasons, being alone in the comfort of my own company feels the safest (which I know can both heal and hurt).
💧As a highly sensitive person, my auto response is to cry. Happy or sad - there’s no middle ground, there will always be tears. I just feel s**t deeply.
💼I took on a new job, completely outside of anything I have experience with. Why? Because for my own health and wellness - it means for a season of life taking a step back from a business centered around just that. Ironic, right?

But truly, as I embrace all the unknowns, all the imperfections, I realize there is a big, bold world outside of “this” (social media), that most times actually welcomes my uncertainty. And when I don’t feel like I have to “check in” or “stay relevant” on social media, I actually find a lot of joy in that reality.
All this to say friends, I hope you know how okay it is to just be (whatever that looks like right now). I share this so you don’t feel alone. Come, sit at the table of uncertainty - I’m right here with you.
I’m checking out from social media for a little while. If you don’t see posts, don’t panic. I’m alright - probably more than alright. I am just as human as everyone else and am diving into a little more “being” and a little less “doing”. Lots of love for you. ❤️
