I quietly caught this moment before they went on stage…
one of our 6-year-old dancers comforting her friend who was feeling nervous, even in tears.

“You can do this, I believe in you. I’ll be next to you the whole time.” 🤍

No prompting. No instruction.
Just pure kindness.

And in that moment, I thought… we’re doing something right.

Because this is more than dance.
This is confidence, friendship, and learning how to lift each other up.

MEET OUR DANCE FAMILY

These are some of the many attributes of our friendly talented team. We do our best to make sure that all students receive the best possible dance training. To do this, we have made it a priority to have a teaching faculty that is highly qualified in terms of teaching / dance experience and training. At GDC, it is a priority to ensure the development of a nurturing teaching faculty that is qualified, certified, experienced and /or accomplished as dancers and teachers. We also have teachers and choreographers that have a wealth of experience as professionals in the dance industry, and they are most happy to pass on their knowledge and artistry to the next generation of dancers.

Miss Kaelyn ✨ Dance Instructor

Kaelyn began dancing in British Columbia, performing with her high school team and training at a local studio. Her passion for working with kids led her to pursue studies at NAIT, where she is working toward becoming a teacher.

With extensive experience teaching and mentoring children, Kaelyn loves combining her love of dance with her ability to inspire and connect with young dancers. She brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every class, encouraging students to grow in confidence and enjoy every step of their dance journey.

Miss Kenzie ✨ Dance Instructor

Kenzie has been dancing for over 15 years, with a love for hip hop, jazz, and contemporary. She’s trained both locally and in Los Angeles with top industry professionals, experiences that continue to inspire her growth as a dancer.

She is passionate about teaching and finds joy in helping young dancers build confidence, embrace the process, and express themselves through movement. This fall, Kenzie begins her Business Administration diploma at NAIT, specializing in Digital Marketing, while continuing to grow her passion for dance and creativity.
