Scottish United Coach of the Month - October
Bobby coaches in our grassroots, U8 and U11 programs and consistently brings a positive energy and enthusiasm to every practice and game. He creates an encouraging and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable learning, trying new things, and building confidence. More than just teaching soccer skills, Bobby helps kids develop a genuine love for the sport by making it fun, engaging, and rewarding. His passion, patience, and ability to connect with the kids make a lasting impact, both on and off the field.
Why does Bobby Coach?
“I coach because I feel like I can make a difference in the foundational years of sport for kids.
I believe strongly in learning through sport, seeing kids as kids first and players second, and prioritizing long term development and love for sport over short term results.
I hope to help kids develop the confidence to do hard things on and off the field, to work together through highs and lows, be challenged and held accountable in a supportive environment, and stay in sport for many years to come.
Coaching is challenging and rewarding, and I am thankful for the all the relationships and connections that have come from it.”
