NEW EVENING SHIFTS ADDED!

We heard from a lot of people who want to help but can’t make our daytime shifts — so we’ve added new evening volunteer shifts next week.

And this is going to be a fun one.

We’ll be working in the Green Skills Loops, building and installing new skills features, getting them dialled in, and yes — test riding them as we go.

This is the kind of work where you can come out for a few hours and actually see what you helped create by the end of the night.

No trail-building experience is required. We’ll show you what needs to be done and work together to get these features ready for riders.

Our daytime trail-building shifts are continuing as well, and we still need as many hands as we can get over the next few weeks.

If evenings work better for you, this is your chance to jump in.

Bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, water, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

We need you!

EDMONTON, WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We're at a critical point in the Edmonton Bike Park build, and we need to be straightforward with everyone: we desperately need more volunteers.

The last several weeks have been tough. Low volunteer turnout, combined with repeated weather delays, has put us significantly behind where we need to be.

Our September 5 Grand Opening is now at serious risk.

We're looking at options, including potentially moving the opening to October 3, but that has not been confirmed. If we can't get enough people out to help complete the remaining work, there's also a real possibility that some of this gets pushed into next year.

That's not where we want this project to end up.

This park was always meant to be community-built.

Edmonton's mountain bike community asked for this park. Years of advocacy helped make it possible. Funding, professional contractors, the City and countless volunteer hours have brought us this far.

Now we need the community to help us finish it.

For the next three weeks, we're running trail-building shifts:

TUESDAY–FRIDAY
10:00 AM–2:00 PM

You don't need to be an experienced trail builder. We'll provide direction and show you what needs to be done.

If you've been thinking about volunteering "one of these days," this is the time.

Come for one shift. Come for several. Bring a riding buddy. Bring your riding group. Bring some friends.

Four hours from enough people could make an enormous difference.

We asked Edmonton to believe in this project. Now we're asking Edmonton to help us get it across the finish line.

We need a few more hands this week.

We’re making a big push toward opening day, but we’re light on volunteers for this week’s trail builds.

Here’s what we’re tackling:
• Building a new rock feature
• Constructing wood features and retaining walls
• Shaping our FOURTH flow trail
• Installing new skills features
• Restoring the dirt jump lines

Whether you’ve volunteered before or this is your first time, there’s a job for everyone. No trail-building experience is required—we’ll show you what to do.

Bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, and water. We’ll provide the tools and the guidance.

Every volunteer gets us one step closer to opening Edmonton Bike Park on September 5.
