Meet The Coaches: Part Four

We're beyond excited to introduce the newest addition to our ABG Elite Skills coaching staff, Breck McKinley! A current NCAA Division 1 defenseman, Breck brings a high level of skill, dedication, and experience to our camp.
Breck currently plays for Bowling Green State University in Ohio (NCAA D1, CCHA conference). Before college, he played four impactful seasons with the Spruce Grove Saints of the AJHL. In his final season (2022-23), he led all Saints defensemen with 53 points (10 goals, 43 assists) in 55 games. Breck also served as an assistant captain for Canada West's U19 team at the 2022-23 World Junior A Challenge.

Breck is a smart, offensive defenseman with a high hockey IQ, known for his ability to contribute effectively at both ends of the ice.

"I'm incredibly excited to join the ABG Elite Skills team and work with the next generation of hockey players in Edmonton. Having grown up playing minor hockey in St. Albert, I understand the importance of strong foundational skills and a passion for the game. I can't wait to share my knowledge and help these young athletes develop into skilled and confident players."

Jordan Biro currently plays for American International College as a 5th year Graduate player. Prior to AIC he spent two years at Colorado College. Jordan had amassed 68 College points and 130 games. He played his Junior hockey in the AJHL for the Spruce Grove Saints where he won a championship and served as an alternate captain. Jordan is from Sherwood Park and played for Sherwood Park Minor Hockey growing up.

We're extremly excited to add Jordan to the coaching staff, he provides great experience along with hard work and talent.

"I’m thrilled for the oppurtunity to share my love for hockey with the kids. Working with the kids gives me the chance to help develop skills and move players on to the next level"

Brett Rylance currently plays for American International College in Springfield Massachusetts. AIC competes in the Atlantic conference of NCAA division 1. Before his time at AIC Brett played 4 years for the Chilliwack Chiefs of the British Columbia hockey league. Brett helped his team win a regular season title his first year, and was an assistant captain his last 2 years. Brett played his minor hockey with the Knights of Columbus from the age of 4-16

Brett is a great skating two-way forward who has a high hockey IQ and skill.
