To practice Firefly, squat and place your hands behind your heels. Lean back so your thighs rest on your upper arms, then straighten your legs forward and lift your feet off the mat.

To practice Birds of Paradise, start by binding your arm around your back and under one leg. Staying strong and balanced in your grounded leg as you slowly rise. Lifting the bound leg with you as you straighten your spine.
