What a weekend for the Club! FMF members competed and showed well this weekend at the Rumble in the Rockies XII PSA Trial hosted by UK9BG PSA CLUB. Our teams competed at the PDC through Level 2 and while there was a lot of learning there was also a lot of success.
The standout this weekend was Rockenson Angrand and K9 ETCH who closed out their PSA Level 1 and then opted to compete in the level 2 on day two - no easy feat!
Rock brought home a 1st Place finish in the PSA 1 on Saturday earning them not only their title in Level 1, but a gold medal in the process. The honours didn’t stop there though. He also collected the lion’s share of the hardware including the honours for High Protection, High In Trial and High Owner Trained! He also earned the High Owner Trained Club award on behalf of our young but incredible club.
While the success of the weekend sets in with Rock and our entire club we look to reset and prepare for the PSA Regionals (Canada Region) in October.
A huge thank you to Ultimate K9 Bodyguards and their entire hard working group to make this trial what it was.
To our Judge Steve Roberts, thank you for making us think our way through this trial. You were creative, challenging and fair, which just makes us and our sport better!
DECOYS - from all over, we can’t thank you enough on a smokin’ hot weeekend. To all competitors thank you for sharing our passion for K9 sport and competing hard right along side us.
Until next time!
