Cuban Movements Dance Academy We are Edmonton’s home for authentic Cuban dance, led by renowned Cuban choreographer and director, Leo González.

Follow us for class updates, community events, and cultural experiences that go beyond the dance floor. Cuban Movements Dance Academy is Edmonton's number dance studio. We offer a wide range of dance classes including group classes, private lessons, and Zumba classes for all ages. Dance classes include Cuban Salsa, Rumba, Salsa Suelta, Body Movements, Afro-Cuban, Flexibility Training, Zumba and more. Be sure to check in regularly for posted event nights!

We’re still feeling the energy from this beautiful weekend. 💙🌊

A heartfelt thank you to Africans & Descents Friendship Of Club St Albert for welcoming Cuban Movements to the St. Albert Afro-Caribbean Festival 2026. It was truly an honour to be part of a celebration that brings together the richness, history, and spirit of African and Caribbean cultures.

We were proud to share The Energy of Yemayá, a choreography by our Director Leo Gonzalez, paying tribute to the African roots of Cuban dance.

Thank you to everyone who watched, supported, and celebrated with us. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do: preserving, sharing, and celebrating Afro-Cuban culture through dance.
