My teaching vacation with at was incredible. We had so much fun. We met so many amazing locals and visitors, ate delicious food, practiced yoga, snorkeled, danced and relaxed in the most beautiful setting anyone could ask for.

It’s not ideal to be in pain during or after treatment. Enduring pain during a massage or being sore after treatment is not necessary nor is it helpful.
Effective therapeutic techniques can be applied during your treatment in a pain free manner.
Most clients I see come in with the main goal of reducing pain or to feel better in their bodies. Increasing your pain is counterproductive to that.
When your body experiences pain it stresses your nervous system and in turn your muscles tense up. The opposite of what we want when you are on the table.
I can increase range of motion, speed up healing time, reduce stiffness etc. all while maintaining the relaxation aspect of massage.
We can meet your therapeutic goals without sacrificing the benefits of massage to your nervous system.
That’s a win-win situation if you ask me.

Pssst. Guess what? 3 Saturday Morning Flow classes were just added to my yoga schedule. There are only two drop in spots left in each class.
My Saturday Morning Flow class is my absolutely favorite to teach. It’s sweaty, fun, and casual, with upbeat music and creative sequencing. A great way to start your weekend.

Has it been “a day”? Putting your legs up on the wall after a long day or week can feel sooo good.
If your day’s activities require you to be standing or walking a lot, putting your feet up on the wall (or back of the couch) can give a huge feeling of relief to the lower half of your body.
After hours of gravity pulling our soft tissue and fluids downwards, it’s nice to reverse that effect. It can also encourage circulation of lymph fluid. Lymph fluid has its own system with vessels but it doesn’t have a pump, so it relies on gravity and body movement to get where it needs to go.
Next time your legs or feet are feeling a bit sore, swollen, or tired, try elevating them on a steep angle by using the wall or a piece of furniture. Don’t blame me if you fall asleep though! ♥️
