Day 1 of the 2026 Valley Masters is in the books - and Whitetail defended their home turf with some amazing golf today!

Halfway home, Whitetail has the lead with 29 points, while Dragonfly Golf Links nabbed 16 points and Oaks of Cobden Golf Club secured 9 points in their matches today.

Great playing Team Whitetail - every team gained at least two points today! Fantastic golf!

Tomorrow the three clubs will head to the Oaks of Cobden Golf Club to play the second round of this year's event. Is there a comeback in the cards? Or will Whitetail keep up the momentum and take the trophy home for the first time since 2023?

We will know soon - play well everyone!

We hosted our 4th Annual Junior/Adult Tournament here this past Sunday, August 30th, and 38 brave souls came out to compete for the championship. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the inaugural Jack MacDonald Memorial Golf Tournament such a wonderful success.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and the hardworking team here at Whitetail. Each and every one of you played an important part in bringing this special day to life.

While we cannot possibly name everyone who contributed, please know how truly grateful we are for your generosity, time, and support. It really does take a village, and we are humbled by the incredible kindness and generosity shown by our community.

We are especially proud to share that the tournament raised $4,500 for the Junior Golf Programs at Whitetail! What a wonderful way to honour Jack’s memory while helping support the next generation of golfers. Thank you for investing in the future of the game and, most importantly, in our kids. They deserve it!
