Looking for Sweeping Sponsors: In curling, sweeping is more than just pushing a broom back and forth while your skip yells 'Hurry Hard'! There is a lot of science, and a little controversy, in the mix. This has resulted in competitive curlers being required to use competition sleeves - the bright yellow fabric at the end of each broom. Each curler on the team uses 1 - 2 sleeves (approx. $25 per sleeve) per event.
