If you’re someone who falls off tracking calories (I definitely have), this app has actually made it easier to stay consistent. You can just take a picture of your food and it does a pretty solid job figuring out what it is and the portions.
Not perfect, but way better than guessing or not tracking at all.

I wanted to give folks a quick update since my last post about my weight earlier this year.
Back in January I shared that an injury had forced me to slow down and that it surprised me how quickly habits can slip when life gets in the way.
Since then I’ve been focusing on getting things back on track. I’ve tightened up my nutrition, stayed consistent with training, and started rebuilding the routines that make progress possible. The changes are starting to show. My clothes are fitting better and I’m feeling a lot healthier overall.
I’ve also been working with some of the other trainers at Flex Fit. Even trainers benefit from having another set of eyes and someone pushing them, and it’s been a good reminder of what many of my clients go through during their own process.
Still working toward the goal and staying consistent.

An injury forced me to slow down this year.
What surprised me was how quickly habits slipped after that.
If 2025 didn’t go as planned for your fitness, you’re not alone.
I’m turning that lesson into something real.
You’ll start seeing it soon.

“New year, new me” sounds inspiring, but it often fails because it asks for perfection instead of sustainability. You don’t need to become a different person when the calendar changes—you need a plan that works in your actual life. The new year is simply an opportunity to adjust habits, tighten routines, and make realistic upgrades to how you move, eat, and recover. Lasting change comes from consistency, not extremes. That’s why I believe in real goals, real life, real results. If you’re ready to train in a way that actually fits your lifestyle, join me for 1-on-1 personal training or come sweat with us in group classes at Flex Fit Elmsdale . Let’s make this year about progress that lasts. 💪

As a personal trainer, I always stress the importance of a balanced, healthy diet—but let’s be real, we all need a snack now and then. Simply Protein Tortilla-Style Chips are my go-to when I want something crunchy without the guilt. With 12g of protein and only 240 calories per serving, they’re a great alternative to regular nacho chips. I love pairing them with Greek yogurt and salsa for a quick, satisfying bite. May is almost here, and warmer days are on the way. Now is the perfect time to build your cardio routine. Cardio strengthens your heart, boosts your energy, and sets the foundation for a strong, active summer. A little effort each day adds up to big results. Get outside, move your body, and start building momentum for the season ahead. If you’re ready for extra support and a plan that fits your goals, reach out to me for Personal Training sessions.
