As Summer comes to an end, we want to take this chance and look back at the 2025-2026 Season! Day 8 RECAP

The Essex Swim & Lifesaving Club travelled to Port Elgin & Saugeen Shores for the 2026 Ontario Waterfront Lifesaving Championships! Our Boys showed how fast they were on the sand and board as they claimed medals in their individual and relay events! Our girls had strong performances against a tough lake and tougher competition. We had so much fun swimming, running, digging and boarding on the beach!

Callaghan S. claimed medals in every event he finished and earned first place overall for the Boys 14-15 category.

Ranjeet P. claimed 5 individual medals across 6 events and earned second place overall for the boys 9 & under category.

As Summer comes to an end, we want to take this chance and look back at the 2025-2026 Season! Day 7 RECAP

This summer our athletes took to the beaches for waterfront practices. We had a great time splashing in the water and tearing up the sand! We bonded over long runs and heart break during beach flags. We shared moments of relaxation on paddle boards between sets. We look forward to the excitement of next years 2027 Waterfront Season.

As Summer comes to an end, we want to take this chance and look back at the 2025-2026 Season! Day 6 RECAP

In May, our senior athletes made the long road trip to Laval, Quebec for the Canadian Pool Lifesaving Championships and SERC Championships! We had a couple of athletes joining at the Senior level for the first time who gave it everything they had. Our Mixed relay teams swam their hearts out and just missed a bid in the finals! The ESLC masters athletes swam hard and earned a variety of medals in each of their events!

As Summer comes to an end, we want to take this chance and look back at the 2025-2026 Season! Day 5 RECAP

In June, our junior athletes once again travelled to Markham for the Ontario Junior Pool Lifesaving Championships. Several of our athletes had stellar performances across their events.
A couple of athletes deserve special recognition for their efforts:
Elyse H. was able to set a provincial record in the Girls 10-11 Throwing Accuracy event en route to claiming a gold medal.
Ranjeet P. swam consistently across his events earning 84 points. He claimed a gold medal in Manikin Carry and finished Second overall among the 9 & Under boys.

As Summer comes to an end, we want to take this chance and look back at the 2025-2026 Season! Day 4 RECAP

In March our Senior Athletes travelled to Bracebridge for the Ontario Seniors Pool Lifesaving Championships. We had a few athletes who braved the cold and frigid temperatures to make their way up and just enough to have a few relay teams! Our swimmers hit some new personal bests as we prepared for the bigger events ahead.
