So proud of all the dancers this past weekend. Two full shows of dance enthusiasts along with Parents, Relatives and Friends. The community support was overwhelming. The day has arrived. As a Dance Teacher for 50 years, all the work and TLC you put into your students, peak at Recital Day. It is the most awaited day of the year for dancers of all age. For some, it is the end of 15 years of classes, exams, performances and recitals. The special part of recital is that it showcases all the dancers. Youngsters to Senior Dancers , Recreational, Examination students to Competitive, working together. It gives them an opportunity to shine. It is their moment. Behind the scenes, I watch and observe with pride. I see how far they have come and that first lesson where I met them for the first time. The emotions on the stage are high but one thing is in common...the passion shared by all. Good luck dancers. This is your day❤️

Spotlight on Stars presents a "SHOWBIZ SENSATION" at the Estevan Comprehensive School today, May 30th. Shows at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the door. All welcome.

Hello Thursday! Countdown is on for the annual recital. This year there are 10 Graduates at the Drewitz School Of Dance who have all been there since they were wee ones. I would like to honour this years Grads daily. Today we honour our Tenth Graduate. #10 McKenna Sullivan
McKenna started dancing at the age of 6. Dance has always been a big part of her life and a place where she could be herself. She has completed her dance exams learning the importance of determination and hard work will pay off. She will treasure the friends from the studio she grew up with. McKenna took part in many different Genres of dance over the years but chose Jazz and Lyrical the last few years. McKenna may be watching from the wings this recital due to an injury, but her heart will be on stage with her fellow dancers. ❤️ Next year, McKenna will be pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology through Athabasca University online and work toward becoming a Certified Foundations Coach in Recreational Gymnastics. Good luck McKenna.

Happy Wednesday! Countdown is on for the annual recital. This year there are 10 Graduates at the Drewitz School Of Dance who have all been there since they were wee ones. I would like to honour this years Grads daily. Today we honour our Nineth Graduate. #9 Aurora McCutcheon
Aurora began dancing as a pre-schooler. She always loved the challenge of dance and how it made it push herself to be better.
She loved the pure joy and sense of accomplishment after successfully completing her classes and exams. Aurora has taken many different genres over the years and you will see Aurora on stage in Jazz, Lyrical and Highland. Next year, Aurora is excited to attend SAIT in Calgary to pursue training in aircraft mechanics and work toward becoming a helicopter pilot. Good luck Aurora. See less

Hello Tuesday! Countdown is on for the annual recital. This year there are 10 Graduates at the Drewitz School Of Dance who have all been there since they were wee ones. I would like to honour this years Grads daily. Today we honour our Eighth Graduate. #8 Lindy Trobert
Lindy began dancing at the age of 3. She loved coming to dance and socializing with her friends. Over the years her confidence has grown and she cherishes all the memories at the studio. Lindy has taken many different genres over the years and you will see Lindy on stage in Lyrical. Next year she is going to Brandon University in the Fall for a Bachelor of Arts and Science! Good luck Lindy.
