Today we celebrate two incredible young women who have left their mark on the Southeast Viragos program.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors, Kassidy and Aurora!

Your dedication, perseverance, leadership, and passion for the game have helped build the foundation of the Viragos. Through every practice, every challenge, and every game, you have represented our team with pride and determination.

While your playing careers with the Viragos may be coming to an end, the impact you’ve had on this program will be felt for years to come. You have inspired younger players, strengthened our team culture, and helped pave the way for the future of female football in Southeast Saskatchewan.

We are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what comes next in your journey.

The Southeast Viragos head north to Yorkton to face the Yorkton Kinsmen Lady Gridders in a preseason showdown that will set the tone for the season ahead.

Brandt Peterbilt Estevan Minor Football is doing a spring fundraiser this year for a 1/2 beef cut and wrapped. Raffle tickets are $10 each. If anyone is interested please reach out to coach Matt (306-421-5584), coach Mark (306-461-6424) or another EMF board member.

Some of the viragos had an amazing day in Regina at the Regina Riot Football game. They even got to see past player Ava Salminen play which show some of the younger players that there is a place to play once they are done with us.

Some of our players traveled to Regina to watch the Regina Riot Football game this morning. GO RIOT!!

Congratulations to one of our graduating players Aurora on her dance recital today. We’re happy to have her help us with coaching!

Thank you to No Frills for supporting our four athletes that will be going to compete for team Saskatchewan at the U18 And U16 football Canada national tournaments. Also thank you also to everybody who came out and supported at our fundraiser barbecue.

We got some advertising by king street about our BBQ. Come to No Frills until 2pm to support female team Sask athletes!
