Exeter Lawn Bowling Club The Exeter Lawn Bowling Club (ELBC) is located on Main Street in the heart of Exeter, Ontario. We hold Jitneys on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm.

From the model and emblem to the World Bowls stamp, serial number, size and weight, there's plenty of information sitting right there on the bowl.

We've broken down some of the key markings you might see and what they can tell you.

You can have the perfect stance.
You can choose the perfect line.
You can have a beautiful backswing…

But if the release goes wrong, the bowl probably will too! 😅

🔥 PART 4: THE RELEASE — LETTING THE BOWL FLOW

A good delivery isn’t about throwing the bowl down the green. It’s about releasing it low, smooth and level to the ground, allowing the bowl to roll naturally off your fingers.

Remember:

🎯 Release close to the ground
✋ Keep your hand and wrist aligned
⏱️ Maintain a smooth, steady speed
➰ Follow the natural arc of your swing
💪 Control, not power!

Every bowler walks off the green believing there’s still ONE MORE BOWL inside them they haven’t played yet.

✨ One absolutely PERFECT end.

And that’s the beautiful thing about this game…

No matter how well you played today, bowls somehow whispers:

So we come back.
