October at Willow Grove: cooler days, fluffier horses and a little Halloween mischief in the making. 🍂🐴🎃
As we get ready for our Halloween Equine Spooktacular, we’re feeling grateful for the people and horses who make this barn such a special place.
Our hardworking team, our riders who keep showing up ready to learn, and our supportive families all bring something wonderful to the mix. And our horses? They deserve plenty of thanks—and perhaps an extra carrot for putting up with our costume ideas. 😉🥕
This time of year is a lovely opportunity to spend a little more time on our foundations. Finding a steadier rhythm, improving our balance, riding accurate turns and communicating more clearly with our horses. There’s always something to improve, whatever level we ride.
And we can have plenty of fun doing it! An obstacle course or a game can teach us a surprising amount about our riding—and ourselves. 👻
Here’s to thoughtful practice, small victories, good laughs and cheering each other on.
Now, back to practising… and planning those costumes! 🎃🧡
