Congratulations to Wade Kolmel on being named the newest President of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

Between 2000 and 2016, Kolmel was the Director of Sport & Student Wellness at Keyano, serving as the Athletic Director of the Keyano Huskies and leader of the SSWC’s Programs & Facilities. Under Kolmel’s leadership, he helped bring conference and national post-secondary tournaments to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Congrats, Wade!

Ready for a community celebration on Sunday, September 13!

The Keyano Huskies home portion of the 2026-27 Schedule begins with our first Minor Sports Day! Bring the family out and enjoy the bouncy castle and a fun soccer inflatable as part of our first home games of the new season!

The Fort McMurray Youth Soccer Association will also be on hand for a special walkout with out student-athletes for starting lineups!
