🏀 Community Basketball Opportunity 🏀

We’re happy to share an upcoming basketball development opportunity being offered by True Hoops featuring two accomplished basketball athletes and coaches.

Brandon Laryea, a recent UNB Varsity Reds standout, completed his senior U SPORTS career this season and was named the AUS Defensive Player of the Year. He was also the AUS nominee for the U SPORTS National Defensive Player of the Year Award, earned Academic All-Canadian honours, and established himself as one of the top defenders in Canadian university basketball.

Joining him is Reese Zorogole, a former U SPORTS athlete, 2-time Academic All-Canadian, 3-time Full Court Halifax Champion, and former professional player with the Halifax Hoopers.

This two-day skills clinic will focus on:
✅ Skill development
✅ Basketball IQ
✅ Defensive concepts
✅ Scoring techniques
✅ Learning what it takes to compete at the university and professional levels

📍 Connaught School, Fredericton
📅 June 27–28

⏰ Grades 7–8: 12:00–1:30 PM
⏰ Grades 9–10: 1:30–3:00 PM

💰 $30 per day or $60 for both days

Volunteer Opportunity – Fredericton Marathon Weekend (May 10)

We’re looking for volunteers to help support the Fredericton Marathon on Sunday, May 10!

Roles include course traffic attendants (helping keep runners safe at crossings). No experience needed—training is provided.
