Some time ago, I sat down with Martina Bernhofer , host of Growth Through Challenge, where we discussed New Brunswick’s first Lymphatic Clinic, how we see patient needs and meet them, and more about healthcare here in New Brunswick.
This clip for me is one that was a highlight. In a field famous for burnout and working under pressure by ourselves, it can be challenging for many practitioners to keep the patient their focus. But, that is what healthcare truly is. We have heard too many stories from patients where they have felt left out of their own care plans, in the dark, and neglected. Bethesda Lymphatic Clinic exists to change that. We are working to put the “care” back in healthcare.

I get asked all the time, and see it happening even more…
Too many of us forget the policies and standards of our practice. We think, “I won’t get caught” or, “this isn’t harmful”. But if it is in place, it’s there for a reason.
If reported, sharing a patient’s review can cost you a fine, or even your entire license.
