Dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with an intellectual disability through sport for more than 40 years!

Special Olympics New Brunswick operates out of the Capital region with three full-time staff. As a charitable Not-For-Profit organization we have and continue to offer athletic opportunities to thousands of New Brunswickers with an intellectual disability. Our athletes and volunteers are continually building social, physical, and cognitive skills through participation in recreational and competitive sport. All of this occurs while maintaining the simplest concept of physical activity; FUN!

Special Olympics New Brunswick would like to take the time to spotlight one of our volunteers who has dedicated 30+ years of volunteer, Wayne Crandall. πŸ‘πŸ»

Wayne, has served many years in SONB volunteering at a variety of sports and events. In 2023 he decided to step down as Regional Coordinator for Fundy Region after serving more than 30 years. Wayne still continues to dedicate his time volunteering at bowling in the Fundy Region. 🎳
