Drifters Tubing on the Nashwaak River

At last, we have come to the end of another season, although it was a bit short due to the weather. We certainly appreciated all the new and returning customers we had this year.

We are excited to share that we'll be continuing the tubing next year, and we look forward to another summer season with you all. Stay tuned for some new improvements that are in the works!

We wish to thank our workers, Shelley and Jeannie, for all their efforts to make Drifters Tubing a success, and another special thanks to my niece for running the page for us.

Hi, Drifters!

Our captain, David, is keeping a close eye on water levels in the Nashwaak right now.

As of Tuesday, August 12, we'll need to pause tubing operations until we get some rain - the water level is just dropping too low. Fingers crossed for rain soon!

On another note, we'd also like to ask that any weekend campers (any time this summer) please book by noon Tuesday of the week you'd like to go camping. This will ensure that we can have facilities (i.e., a Ready John) available for you! 😊

We are now OPEN for the 2025 tubing season! 🤩

Please direct all bookings and inquiries to David at 506-447-8382. Note that we cannot reserve your spot or take inquiries online, and we cannot take drop-ins.

Please also note that we are a CASH ONLY business. Prices for the 2025 tubing season are as follows:

$10 cooler float
$20 regular tube
$30 tube tracker (lounge tube)
$40 camping (includes tube)

First tubes out on the river at 10am, final run starts by 3pm.

Who's ready for tubing season?? 🤠 Shouldn't be much longer now! While the river is still a little too high and a little too chilly for immediate bookings, we're taking advance bookings for the summer at 506-447-8382.

We're also still looking to hire on another helper or two for the summer - if you or someone you know may be interested, give us a call for details! 🙂

As we start gearing up for our 15th year in business, we're interested in adding a new employee to our team to help out on busy mornings (any day of the week!) this summer.

This could be an ideal position for a mature student with their own transportation, or someone who otherwise has their mornings fully available throughout the summer.

Well Drifters, another summer has come and gone and we just want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you who supported our business this year. And what a summer it was - we're already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

On that note, while we'll be back, we wanted to give a special shout out to our friends over at Nashwaak tubing, who have recently announced their retirement after 25 summers in the tubing business. Wishing them all the best in whichever direction they go next!

To all reading this, we wish you a happy and healthy fall/winter season ahead, and we thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for another wonderful tubing season.

Last (but not least!) a very special thank you to Jeannie and my wife, Shelley, for all of your help around the table this summer, and to Rachelle for your help with the page.
