Elks want to wish young 15 year old Elk, Keegan Crowell and his Colchester Royals good luck this weekend in St. Croix as they will compete at the Bantam Eastern Canadian Championship. Plan a trip to St Croix and take in some great ball and support this group of young men looking to bring another Medal home for Nova Scotia. The Royals get things going on Thurs at 4pm vs NB2 then Friday at 10am vs Ont1 then a quick turnaround to face NL2 at 12pm.

Alex Rhoddy named top pitcher in Fredericton at U18 Canadian Fast Pitch Championship.

Elks back on the field tomorrow morning at 9am vs Fredericton Twins to start the playoff round

Elks finish 5th after round robin play and will plat the Host Fredericton Twins at 9am tomorrow morning

Elks battled through and finished the round robin with a win vs Ont3 12-10. Dylan McCoul started and went 3 innings giving up 10 runs, 6 earned and Alex Rhoddy came in a didn't allow a run to pick up the win. The Elks offense came back again from a 10-6 deficit to take the lead in the top of the 6th. The Elks had singles by 6 different players, triples by Garrett Henley and Jacob Bowers and a HR by Coby Crowell to pace the high scoring Elk offense. The Elks now await the official word on who they will face in the playoff round

Elks lost a forgettable game to SK2 16-3. Short memories for the Elks, back to work tomorrow at 10am vs Ont3

The Elks beat NL 5-4 today to bring their record to 4 wins and 3 losses. Alex Rhoddy picked up the win for the herd, going the distance giving up 4 runs, 3 earned and striking out 6. The Elks pulled ahead in the bottom of the 6th, when Keegan Crowell singled to right to score Mitchell Urquhart for the winning run. Coby Crowell and Brad MacKinnon had triples and Jacob Bowers has a deep shot to right field to supply the Elk offense.
The Elks are back on the field at 8pm vs SK2.

Elks beat the Host last night for their 2nd win of the day 15-6. Mitchell Urquhart started and went 3 2/3 giving up 5 runs, 4 earned, Alex Rhoddy entered in relief, giving up 1 unearned run. The Elks put a strong push on in the 7th finally putting hots together scoring 7runs in the inning. Avery Arsenault had 2 singles, Dylan McCoul had 2 singles and a double, and Coby Crowell had a HR for the Elk offense.
The Elks now sit at 3 wins and 3 losses and will look to pick up their 4th win of the week today at Noon vs NL

The Elks picked up a big 15-4 over NB this afternoon. Alex Rhoddy pitched the win giving up 4 runs, 1 earned and striking out 9. The offense was spread throughout the lineup. Avery Arsenault, Coby Crowell, and Liam Giffen all had 2 singles, Mitchell Urquhart had a single and a double, Jacob Bowers had a triple and Garrett Henley had a HR.

The Elks now sit at 2 wins and 3 losses, and will look to get back even tonight at 8:30 vs the Host.

Elks dropped a close one to SK1 5-3. Dylan McCoul started and went the distance for the Elks and pitched well in the loss. The herd gave up 4 runs in the 1st and just couldn't seem to put the hits together when needed. Jacob Bowers has 2 singles, Garrett Henley added another and Alex Rhoddy had 2 walks in the loss. Elks are back to work tomorrow, games have been suspended due to rain for the night. We will post up out schedule when we know the changes.
