The summer is coming to an end and the Galiano Golf Club will be reducing hours that the clubhouse is open. Starting in September the clubhouse will only be open Friday 4 - 7 (for Happy Hour of course!!) Saturday and Sunday 10 - 4 and Holiday Mondays.

The course will remain open dawn to dusk as usual, no tee times and honour box and QR Code for self payment. Rental clubs and pull carts are also available self serve - price list posted on the clubhouse.

And we return to our off season green fees starting Tuesday September 1. Weekdays 9 holes $25 and 18 holes $40. Weekends 9 holes $30 and 18 holes $45. Junior fees remain at $20 and $25.

As mentioned Happy Hour will continue Fridays 4 - 7 until October (unless the weather completely fails!) and we are planning a special musical treat for our final Happy Hour of the season - more details closer to the date!

The calendar might be flipping to September soon, but there’s still plenty of great golfing left this year. The greens are looking fantastic, the weather is warm, and we’re keeping things easy for you:

No Tee Times Required: Just grab your clubs and head on out whenever you're ready.

Flexible Play: Drop by for a quick 9 or take your time with 18.

Hi all, this is a friendly reminder that the course will be very busy on Thursday, August 13.

A large wedding group (20 ppl) will be golfing in the morning, about 9-noon; however, they have not booked the whole course, so anyone is welcome to golf at that time.

Later in the day, a tournament has booked out the entire course from 1-4 PM, and men's night will proceed as usual starting at 5 PM.

Additionally, expect a large group (around 20 ppl) to be golfing Saturday afternoon (August 15); however, they have not booked the course, so anyone may golf during this time.

⛳️ FREE ADULT GOLF CLINICS COMING TO GALIANO! ⛳️

Ready to fix that stubborn slice, master your short game, or finally learn the basics? We have an incredible opportunity for you!

We are hosting Linda Jervis, teaching professional from Northview Golf and Country Club, for three days of FREE adult golf clinics this July 27th, 28th, and 29th.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player looking to sharpen your skills, Linda's simple, easy-to-follow tips will help lower your scores and boost your confidence.

Here is what we’re tackling each day:

🗓 Monday, July 27 – Full & Partial Swings (The "Fix-It" Clinic) Got a slice, a hook, a sky, or a top? Bring your creative miss-hits and Linda will give you the simple fixes to stop doing them! Brand new to golf? This is the perfect place to start.

🗓 Tuesday, July 28 – Just Around the Green Learn the proper setup for clean, solid contact. Master which club to use where, and get the hang of distance control around the greens. All skill levels welcome.

🗓 Wednesday, July 29 – Putting & Putting It All Together Dial in your putting with fun, easy drills, and learn a game-changing pre-shot routine to hit better shots more often! All skill levels welcome.

We have a busy July ahead with several events, fundraisers, and private bookings. Please take a look at the upcoming schedule adjustments below so you can plan your visits accordingly:

🗓️ Upcoming Closures & Event Schedule

July 6, 7, & 8 (Monday – Wednesday) | Kids Camp
Course Status: 🔴 CLOSED from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon) each day.

Saturday, July 11 | Galiano Health Society Fundraiser
Course Status: 🔴 CLOSED from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM to support a great cause! Get your tickets now!

Friday, July 17 | Private Event
Course Status: 🔴 CLOSED from 12:00 PM (Noon) to 4:00 PM.

Saturday & Sunday, July 25 & 26 | Large Group Booking
Course Status: 🟢 OPEN, but a large party of 20 golfers will be on the course from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM both days. The course is not fully closed, but pace of play may be impacted, so please plan your rounds around this group if you prefer a quieter day!
