Arm in Guillotine from Front Head Lock 🔒 05/08/2026

Arm in Guillotine from Front Head Lock 📌 If your opponent won’t go down from the snap or front headlock, don’t force it—switch to the guillotine.

In this short, you’ll learn how to transition when your opponent stays heavy or reaches around your hips to wrestle up. Instead of fighting strength with strength, switch to a tight chin strap grip, lift to create space, and rotate into position while controlling their back with your leg.

From there, lock in a powerful guillotine finish by crunching your elbow to your hip for maximum pressure.

The key here is chaining attacks—don’t rely on just one option. The front headlock is a hub for multiple submissions and takedowns, and this guillotine is one of the most effective counters when your opponent defends.

Tripod Passing - Part 2 ➡️ Stuck inside your opponent’s hooks? Here’s how to shut down their guard and pass to mount even in a worst-case scenario.

In this short, we skip the entry and go straight into a tough position—both hooks in. Learn how to scoop, apply head pressure into the neck, and walk up to neutralize your opponent’s control. By removing the power of their hooks, you make it much harder for them to sweep or create space.

From there, transition into a clean knee cut pass, secure double underhooks, and climb your way to mount by controlling and walking up the arms. You’ll also see how to deal with common reactions like Single X attempts, using simple counters to maintain pressure and keep advancing.

This is a high-percentage, pressure-based passing sequence you can drill daily to dominate from the top.
