These are the best shots I took for the races that day, the weather was a bit of a challenge since the lighting kept changing every few minutes, i fixed what I could in post, but I aim to make shots more consistent as summer approaches.

The races were super exciting I've learned quite a lot from watching these road warriors tear up tarmac to pursue the passion for four-wheeled fury. Some of these machines made me feel like I was on the production set for a Mad Max film, in the way their tooled for performance to the extent that they sacrifice the outer cosmetics of the machine just so they can cut away drag and weight. How some of these machines projected pure ungoverned horsepower that when they accelerated at the starting line, shockwaves from the combustion would travel up form my spine and give me chills!! 10/10 would recommend.

Luskville Dragway offers wholesome family fun, offering friendly sports competition, with creative engineering and applied physics. Something I sincerely wish I had growing up!!

I used a shallow depth of field (f/5.6)to help capture the cars in motion as I found f/8 Aperture or greater made the shots look frozen but not in a very exciting way especially with the angles I am restricted to.

I try to keep my ISO restricted during shoots because I shoot with film as well and having to calibrate different settings on a mechanical camera can interfere with getting a strong composition, so my ISO for most events is tuned to whatever film I have loaded into the camera.
