Presenting our first coaching announcement four our 2026 season.

Coach Laskis has been a part of Tide for many years and you may recognize him from his contributions with the U18 team serving previously as HC, Associate HC, and DC.

As the program director and Head Coach for , Coach Laskis and the 87’s are defending HSSAA Champions and finalists again this year. Coach Laskis has lead the team to 5 straight finals appearances in as many years.

To stifle his resume, Coach Laskis spent time the past two seasons with as a guest coach. He also finished last year as a finalist for coach of the year.

With many key relationships with next level programs, Coach Laskis has assisted dozens of players to get to play Usport and CJFL ball.

“Excited to get 2026 rolling and work towards a championship and getting players to the next level!”

We are proud to present as our Fall u14 Head Coach 🌊🐘

An experienced and dedicated coach with a proven track record of developing young athletes in flag and tackle football. For the past two years, he’s proudly coached with Halton Elite Flag Football and North Halton Crimson Tide u18, focusing on skill enhancement, strategic gameplay, and fostering a team-oriented environment. His commitment extends beyond the field, aiming to instill values of sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership in every player.

As a player, Mitch spent 5 years with the in the CJFL winning 2 OFC championships. He was a 1x Allstar, played in the National Championship. He then went out east to play 1 year in PEI with winning Team MVP.

U14 AAA Tide 2025 team! 🌊🐘

Huge appreciation to the players coming in to our Tide family this year who crushed it week in and week out! Made a splash in the football world coming in HOT to dominate at AAA and coming just a yard short in their playoff game.

Should be incredibly proud of the culture built and effort put in.

To the coaches, cannot thank you enough for your dedication and passion. You truly went above and beyond in every aspect. Cannot wait to see how you will grow within the organization and your football lives!

To the parents, some of the most dedicated people I have met. Your love and passion for your kids and the team was a sight to see. It was felt during game day, at practices, and thru your team events growing as a family. Thank you for going the extra mile for the players and the organization.
