Today marks exactly 6 months since we opened the doors of Sunny Running here on the Sunshine Coast of BC 😌☀️✨

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality from day 1 and has filled our shop with laughter, smiles, and loads of chatter ✨

Our dream for Sunny from the beginning was to be by the community, for the community. To be a hub, where we can gather to nerd out on running, celebrate adventures and movement and uplift and support one another. It’s so exciting to see that dream come to fruition 🥲

Join us Saturday, October 3rd as we support the kick off of the Inaugural Up the Creek trail race. This is a fall event you won’t want to miss ✨!

Up the Creek 25k offers a great combo of some punchy uphills followed by some speedy flats and downhills 🏃🏻💨

A great option for those looking to take a step up in their distance on the trails or looking to challenge their inner speedster 🏎️✨

**Bonus for off coasters** walk on the morning ferry on race day as race headquarters is a stones throw from Langdale 🤩

Don’t miss experiencing The Beast of the Creek 50k in its inaugural year 🤩

This route is guaranteed to be type ✌🏻 fun with some crushing climbs, beautiful flats to stretch those legs out and so much loam in between. If you don’t know what loam is, you definitely will after this adventure 👌🏻.

Here we go again…

From the beginning, we have set out to provide meaningful, fun and fresh trail running events here on the Sunshine Coast of BC. Our main goals through our events have been to leave the trails better than we received them, respect and give back to our community as much as we can, and share what we feel is a pretty darn special and incredible piece of beautiful British Columbia.

Coaster Co-RD & owner of Sunny Running Co., Jeanelle Hazlett has teamed up with Jordan Brett of Steel & Oak Brewing Co. & B**r Run Race series to bring you Sunshine Coast’s newest trail race. We are so stoked to present to you Up the Creek 50k & 25k!

Come explore our beautiful coastal backyard from Langdale all the way into the loamy, magical trails of Roberts creek and back.

Join us, October 3rd, 2026 for our inaugural event, fun and challenging routes with all the best vibes. We hope to see you there! Reg launches this Wednesday, July 22nd at 8am… don’t hit snooze on this one.
