What a season for the U13 Rockets ๐
Now that the photos have hit the press, here are a few highlights from the U13 Tier 4 Provincial Championships in Kitimat, BC!
From the first ice time to the final buzzer, this group showed up every game with heart, grit, and a real commitment to each other.
This team also included players from Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association.
A season to be proud of:
๐ EK Banner Champions
๐ฅ Bronze at Provincials
Beyond the results, itโs the growth, teamwork, and friendships built along the way that stand out most.
Huge thank you to the families, coaches, and everyone who put in the time and travel to support this team. And a big thank you to the sponsors who helped make the journey to Kitimat possible.
Proud of this group. ๐๐

What a journey it has been!
These 10 graduating players are more than just teammates โ they are a family. Many of them have grown up together, sharing the ice through their entire minor hockey careers, building bonds that go far beyond the game.
Through early mornings, long road trips, big wins, tough losses, and everything in between, theyโve created memories that will last a lifetime.
Pictured left to right, top to bottom:
Connor Sherriff, Josh Tatton, Caeden Desmarais, Chase Falbo, Carter Anderson, Will Broderick, Malcolm Russell, Jack Hayward, Parker Jackson, Jaxon Lillies.
To this incredible group โ thank you for your dedication, leadership, and heart. Youโve left your mark on the Rockets program in a big way.
No matter where life takes you next, youโll always be Rockets. ๐
A few weeks later, with the tournament photos inโฆ hereโs a look back at an incredible week in Golden ๐๐
The Golden Rockets U18 team battled hard and came away with a bronze medal at the BC Tier 4 Championships. We couldnโt be more proud of this group โ their effort, resilience, and heart were on full display all tournament long.
To our incredible communityโฆ you showed up BIG. Every home game was loud, proud, and unforgettable. That support meant everything to our players and staff.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible โ our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, committed coaches, supportive parents, and of course, our amazing players. It truly takes a village, and ours is something special.
Congratulations as well to the Creston Valley Attack for taking home gold, the Kitimat Winterhawks on their silver medal finish, and the Kamloops Blazers for earning the Fair Play Award. A special nod to the East Kootenay rivalry between Golden and Creston โ these two teams have been going head-to-head in some incredibly competitive matchups over the past several years, and this tournament was no exception.
Proud of this group and what they accomplished โ and looking ahead to recognizing the graduating players who have been such an important part of this team and community.
