For those interested in doing a 6 week run group for the winter session, I'm doing one starting on Jan 10, 2022. It looks like the weather will improve by then๐คฃ
It includes 2 runs per week Mondays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 1:00 pm. Mondays are 5km and Saturdays will be anywhere from 5km-8km depending on weather.
This session includes a strength training plan along with the running support group. $140.00 +gst

Tansi Kiyawaw, hello to you all! For those who are looking for a physical challenge for 2022 check this out. I'm currently working on the 2021 medal for myself and working on the Appalachian Trail with my work crew.
The virtual challenges started out as a way to stay connected and stay physically active with my work peeps while we worked from home. We are all back in the office now so as motivation to keep going I hung this in my office. We have completed the Ring Road Iceland, Pacific Crest Trail, and the Grand Canyon as a team and I completed the St Francis Way challenge on my own. The app is super to use and the support team gets back to you promptly. The medals are amazing!
The picture on the right are all the virtual challenges I completed in 2021. There is just one that we did in person - "Every Child Matters"

Wow! This is so awesome! I remember a time when I was injured and couldn't run, I had no idea of what other options were out there to support my mental and physical health. Sorry if you need to change times but its entirely possible we reopen more classes at a time before the new year, anyway. For now, if you are currently in a class - please have a look at this and see if your class time is still there. If it is, you don't need to do anything. If your class isn't here, please let us know a new time that works for you so we can reserve your spot!

Tis the season. Here is a great pumpkin soup recipe I just tried. It's so delcious. I used the flesh of a roasted regular pumpkin in place of the small sugar pumpkin. I added two cups of butternut squash for added nutrients.
