Standings update after our First Major

If you don't see your name on the list but have played in a PCJT event, it is because you have not purchased your tour card for the season. You can still do so by visiting or calling the Grande Prairie Golf & Country.

Bonus Points will be added after the Dunes junior Open

The Grande Prairie Junior Open was a huge success! With over 80 juniors competing between the junior open and the wee linkers open. This was our first major of the year so PCJT points were worth double.

A huge thank you to all the players, parents, volunteers, and the team at Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club for helping make this event one to remember.

The Peace Country Junior Tour made its way up to Dawson Creek this week, where 70 junior golfers battled the windy conditions in another fantastic stop on the 2026 PCJT schedule.

A huge thank you to the Dawson Creek Golf & Country Club, the tournament organizers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the event such a success. Your hard work and hospitality are greatly appreciated and continue to make this one of the highlights of the PCJT season.

Congratulations to all of our division winners and to every junior who competed this week. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next stop on the Peace Country Junior Tour!

This week on the PCJT schedule is the Dawson Creek Junior Open.

A few important details about the event:
✅ Wednesday check-in opens at 10:00 AM under the Glacier Glass registration tent.
✅ Players’ meeting begins at 11:30 AM.
🏌️ Shotgun start is at 12:00 PM for ALL players.
✅ Wee Linkers & U11 players must have a caddie for this event.
✅ If you haven’t paid your registration yet, you can call the Pro Shop today to pay in advance or pay Wednesday morning before checking in. Please bring your proof of payment to the registration table.
✅Wee Linkers be ready to tee off at 11:40am immediately following the player’s meeting

What a fantastic way to kick off the 2026 Peace Country Junior Tour season!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Season Opener. We were thrilled to welcome 37 junior golfers for an exciting day of competition.

This year's opener introduced our new Stableford scoring format, and the players did a great job adapting to the new format while playing some outstanding golf. After the round, the fun continued with our Drive, Chip & Putt Skills Challenge, giving everyone another chance to compete and show off their skills.

Thank you to all of our players, parents, volunteers, and the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club staff for helping make the first event of the season such a success.

Tee Times for Tomorrows Season Opener

The Dawson Creek Junior Open is on July 8, 2026

This event is open to all junior golfers in the U19, U17, U15, U13, and U11 divisions, with a 9-hole Wee Linkers division available for ages 5–8. Players will compete for valuable season points, prizes, and another chance to climb the PCJT standings.
