first go at a GF peach cobbler…. I’m pretty impressed with this effort!!
I did add too much butter to each container and totally forgot the cinnamon, but they still taste SOOOO GOOOD!!
Certified coach, EAL facilitator, horses are the teachers, great friends, good food, tons of fun

Putting stuff away after a show can be dangerous…. I came down outta my tack room onto the basket edge on the door. This picture is from tonight, the incident happened almost a week ago!!
My ankle and calf have been sore for awhile now, so I doubled up my Goldride red light pads tonight to hit my calf and ankle with my 240 pad using red light a couple times and the infrared light once.
I used the 64 wl pad on the bruised site on the combination setting with blue, red and infrared at the same time.
Hopefully I can get the tightness in my leg to settle so I can start doing some actual horse work!! 🙃

Has your youth student ever wanted to experience time with a horse?

Or have way too much energy that they need to put to good use?? 😉
This year QAR is doing something new for a special yourh student….
We are opening up a spot for a youth student that we are going to sponsor for 4 horse sessions.
These are ground work sessions only!!

WOW!! This past week was a bit of a blur!
Got home Sunday from Canada’s National Arabian Championship with my fantastic 3 year old filly and Reserve Champion in In hand trail 3 and under, DK KHEMOZ BURBN KHYZZ.
Found Mouse was having breathing issues again due to the heat and dust, and that she was having a reaction to all the fly bites. My poor girl. She’s doing much better now.
My only summer camp started Monday with two sisters who have been here before. They wanted to work Kami the fist day, Mouse got some love on day two and both girl got used on day three. We did a craft activity each day, the most fun was building pool noodle stick horses and making horse cookies!!
We finished the camp with grass and love for the rest of the horses!!
John , Jobi and I hauled the small square bales that were in the ditch and got them in the loft.
Then I darted off to Moose Jaw to pick up two of the grandbabies with a quick stop in to see the two grandbabies having birthdays at the end of the month.
A nice lunch with Danita and her boys then a big grocery shopping trip to load up snacks, fruit and diapers for the week they will be with us.
Farmers market on Friday and who knows what will happen this weekend!!!

My Friday was filled with great equine and their human athletes.
Have you ever noticed that you have those special friends that you o ly catch up with at an event you both enjoy?
My Tammy and I really only seem to catch up at horse shows. 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t imagine how that happens…. 😆
The clouds and smoke help keep the sun at a reasonable temp and the breeze kept the bugs away.
We had a huge senior class, which was great to see!!
Thank you Abernathy fair for asking me to judge the trail this year it’s a great show!!
