In celebration of our 75th anniversary, we’re making 10 special donations of $7,500 each to community organizations throughout the year! The recipient of our third 75th anniversary community donation is the Onaping Falls Curling Club!

The Onaping Falls Curling Club has been a part of the community for over 70 years. From youth programs and school partnerships, to senior leagues and community bonspiels, the club provides a welcoming environment and promotes physical activity, teamwork and social connections among residents of all ages. It’s more than a curling club – it’s a gathering place for the community.

The curling club’s current refrigeration system, which maintains the quality and safety of the ice surface, has reached the end of its operational life. A modern system will improve energy efficiency, reduce operating expenses, and ensure consistent, high quality ice conditions. The total cost of the project is approximately $325,000, which the club is hoping to raise through fundraising events, member contributions, grant opportunities and donations from community partners.
