This year’s Sudbury golf tournament is Saturday June 27th 2026 with a Shot Gun start @ 9am at the Pine Grove Golf Club! The deadline to register is Friday, June 19th.
Ticket cost is $100

Philippe, Robert (1949–2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our 786 Brother Robert Philippe at the West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the age of 77 years.

He is survived by his dear brothers and sisters: Gary (Louise), Percy (Linda), Don (Raymonde), Peggy (Brad), Wayne (Linda Boyd), and Theresa Lynne Philippe (Paul Abbott).

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Wilfrid and Denise Trépanier, and brother Brian.

RIP Brother

Today we pause to remember Brother Alex Kutschke who has passed on.

The members of Ironworkers Local 786 extend our deepest condolences to Brother Alex Kutschke’s family, friends, and fellow Ironworkers. A brotherhood is built on strength, trust, and looking out for one another, and today we mourn the loss of one of our own.

He will be remembered not only for the work he did, but for the friendships he built, the laughs he shared, and the impact he made on those around him. Though he may be gone from our sight, his memory will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and working beside him.

Rest in Peace, Brother. We will carry your memory with us and never forget the bond we shared.
