We had swimmers from Ottawa, North Bay, Little Current, Kirkland Lake, Orillia and the GTA this year to join our steady complement of Sudbury folks. It was great to see everyone out enjoying the lake.

Get ready for the Beaton Classic coming up on August 10th. The crown jewel 👑of the Sudbury Fitness Challenge!

Ramsey Lake today was 75 degrees. Lots of activity down by the lake with no wetsuits. Looks like tomorrow will be perfect conditions for the Island Swim.

You are allowed to wear a wetsuit. You won’t earn any Island Swim medals but you can accumulate points for the Sudbury Fitness Challenge prorated for the wetsuit advantage. Get some practice in before the Beaton Classic!

See you in the morning at Moonlight Beach.
