Evan and Mateo Volpini, Cole Macey and Julien Turpin just raced their Junior Men’s K4 500m and powered their way to a 3RD PLACE finish — earning themselves a spot in the A FINAL! 🚀💥

What an incredible showing from this crew! The speed, teamwork and determination were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder. 👏🔥

The racing continues at the CKO Sprint: Ontario Championships in Ottawa, and Team SCC has another result to celebrate! 💙🛶

U18 MEN’S K2 500M — FINAL B

🥇 1ST PLACE — Julien Turpin & Oleksiy Buzanov!

What a race! Julien and Oleksiy powered their way to the win in the B Final, delivering a huge performance on the water! 🔥💪

The CKO Sprint Ontario Championships are underway, and our SCC athletes came out ready to race this morning! 💙⚡️

In the 500m prelims:

🔥 Evan Volpini — 2nd ➡️ A FINAL
🔥 Julien Turpin — 2nd ➡️ A FINAL
🔥 Mateo Volpini — 5th ➡️ B FINAL

🔥 FIRST UP: PROVINCIALS THIS WEEKEND!
Our Sprint Team is back on the water this weekend for Provincials, and we’ll be cheering them on every stroke of the way!

🏆 THEN IT’S OFF TO NATIONALS!
Seven SCC athletes have qualified for Nationals in Ottawa later this month! It’s been an incredible season of hard work, determination and some amazing racing. We couldn’t be prouder of this group. 💪💙

🤠 COUNTRY PADDLE = SUCH A GREAT NIGHT
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Country Paddle! Beautiful weather, a great evening on Lake Ramsey, music, dancing and lots of laughs made it a night to remember.

It was SCC at its best — great people, time on the water and a community that knows how to have fun!

🍂 SUMMER ISN’T OVER YET!
There’s still plenty of paddling ahead, and as Lake Ramsey begins to take on its fall colours, some of the most beautiful days of the season are still to come.

The club remains accessible through October 15, so there’s lots of time to get out and enjoy the water.
