If you’re passionate about horses, dressage, building the equestrian community in Northern Ontario, or simply want to help make a difference, we would love to hear from you. You do not need to be a dressage expert — we’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, dependable, willing to share ideas, and ready to work as part of a team.

As a Director at Large, you may have the opportunity to help with things like:
✨ Planning shows, clinics & special events
✨ Fundraising & sponsorships
✨ Volunteer coordination
✨ New ideas and programs for our members
✨ Helping NODA continue to grow across Northern Ontario

💙 Please note that NODA is a volunteer-run association. All Board of Director positions are volunteer positions and are not paid. Our organization is built by people donating their time because they believe in creating more opportunities for riders in the North.

🍂🐴 **MEET OUR JUDGE & CLINICIAN — GENEVIÈVE LAVIGNE!** 🐴🍂

We are so excited to welcome **Geneviève Lavigne** to Sudbury for our **September 26th In-Person Dressage Show** at West Croft Stables — AND she’s sticking around to teach a clinic on **Sunday, September 27th!** 🎉

⚠️ **Clinic spots are LIMITED ** ⚠️

Whether you want to **train your eye, improve your jumping skills on the flat, discover dressage, or take your current dressage training to the next level**, this clinic is designed to be an inviting, low-pressure environment where you can learn, be challenged and — most importantly — have FUN with your horse. ❤️

Geneviève brings **over 30 years of experience in the equine industry** and a seriously impressive résumé. She began in the hunter/jumper and eventing worlds before falling in love with dressage. She has competed through **Training Level eventing, Fourth Level dressage on the Gold circuit, FEI Young Horse classes**, as well as the AA/Trillium hunter/jumper circuits.

She has also **trained and worked at Olympic-level barns in Germany, England, the United States and across Canada.** 🇨🇦🌎

Gen is a **Certified Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC)** with the Coaching Association of Canada, a former EC hunter/jumper judge and is currently an **EC Dressage Judge**.

One of Gen’s strengths is her ability to analyze both the **horse AND rider**, identify strengths and areas that need development, and explain everything from simple concepts to biomechanics in a way riders can actually understand and apply.
