Grimsby Lawn Bowling Club

GrimsbyLBC Hosted a fun day for the residents and managers of Maplecrest Village. The day was concluded with a lovely lunch supplied by Maplecrest management. Thanks to our club members who helped to make this a fun day for our guests.

We had a wonderful meeting with Trina Inglis, Secretary of the Grimsby Lawn Bowling Club, and enjoyed discussing many exciting opportunities for future collaboration.

At Maplecrest Village Retirement Residence, we value building strong community partnerships that create meaningful experiences for our residents. We look forward to working together on future events, activities, and initiatives that bring people together and foster new friendships.

While we await the installation of our new washroom/clubhouse facility, our president has ordered a porta potty which was installed today. As this is inside our club property, it will be confined to club member usage. Thanks, Tom!

Opening Day at Grimsby Lawn Bowling Club on Victoria Day.
After a very chilly 2 Open Houses last week, we were hit with 30 plus celsius. Everyone managed to play a fun game, and were rewarded with pizza afterward.

Come out and give bowls a try at our last Open House on Saturday, May 16 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
The weather gods are predicting fair weather.
We offer free instruction. Please wear flat soled shoes.

A chilly day at our first Open House, which didn't deter some of our members from coming out to blow the dust off. It was also great to have some new people sign up.
