Today we headed up the escarpment. And back down. Then looking up and deciding to go again.
The goal? Five laps, roughly 5k or as many as you can manage.
It’s tough. Your legs burn. You’re breathing hard. And that climb doesn’t get any more inviting when you’re standing at the bottom.
But you’re there. You’re trying. And beside you is someone else doing the same damn thing.
That’s what doing this together gives you. Someone to start with. Someone to say, “Come on, we’ve got another one, we got this!” Someone who understands how hard you’re working because they’re working through it too.
You’re allowed to slow down. Walk. Catch your breath. Do what you can.
Give yourself the chance to find out what you can do. One climb, one lap, one “I’m going again” at a time.
And the same goes for walking into a gym and your first group class. You don’t need to get fitter before you join us. You’re allowed to come as you are, feel unsure, and figure it out alongside people who remember their first day too.
Just show up and try. We’ll be right there doing the hard stuff with you.
Let’s go! You have been thinking about it. Time to take action 🔥💪🔥
