With the weather finally starting to warm up, it’s time to start planning for the 2026 racing season! We’ve begun updating our website’s event calendar and have added several races, with hopefully more to come! We’re super proud of our little guy, Jasper for competing in his first regatta at GCC competing for PCKC and doing pretty well!

Congratulations, Jasper!!
This speedster tested his sprint kayak and canoe skills at the Gananoque Canoe Club U10/U12 regatta, this past weekend. We cheered on Jasper and his crewmates through eight different events, including the exciting C-15. What a day! The ribbons are cool ... but not nearly as cool as the hard-working paddler wearing them. Great job, Jasper!

Thank you to everyone at for putting on an amazing regatta! What a great way to introduce young paddlers to racing! See you next year!!!

Just set up a couple Epic V8 Tourers in River layup this morning while we still have some shade by the containers! These two boats, as well as paddles, stands etc. are heading up to Kenora at the end of that week. Just like last year, the V8T has been popular this season and we’re getting through our stock quickly, but still have one River and a couple Performance construction Tourers available. New models tend to take a little longer to get traction in the touring kayak world vs surfski or sprint, so it’s nice to see these getting out the door, as it’s really a fantastic touring kayak that opens up a lot of adventure opportunities vs other forms of expedition kayaks.

Got to demo a few KAPE Masters kayaks to a couple great clients yesterday. Highlight was testing out the new Revo 44 for the first time - and it’s awesome!
