It's hard to believe, but summer is over and things are going back into fall mode. And we hoped that maybe things would get a bit easier and lighter but the world is intense and heartbreaking in a turbo-overdrive-kind-of-way these days.
I made you a small video to help. In it, I take you through a simple breathing exercise:

One thing I know is that embodying and moving together can help us feel more grounded, present and connected. As I quoted Glennon Doyle before:

Hello students near and far,
The weather is incredible! We are in the garden more and able to meet outside a bit! Things are looking up and I am happy that my movement classes continue to help people deepen their connection to themselves and to a small community of people taking care together.
I'm running another group class session throughout June and July. (I will be taking August off from group classes). This class is classic Katie-lates: deep with a flow to it. We strengthen and learn to listen deeply to our own body. And I always check in with you and see what you need.
It will run June 10 - July 29

Hello students near and far,
If you are feeling like you want to move, need to move and don't know where to start - I am here to help!
Glennon Doyle tells a story in her book Untamed (great book, have you read it?) about a low point in her life where she is in recovery, pregnant and struggling. She visits a colleagues room every day ...mostly to see the words that she has put on her wall:
"WE CAN DO HARD THINGS" it says.
I love this story and think of it often in these hard days. We CAN do hard things and it is easier to do them together. Group classes can be extraordinary in this way. Moving and doing challenging things together can help us...

Hello everyone. I haven't posted much here about my Pilates classes because I've been really busy with some continuing education.
