Guelph Lawn Bowling Club

This isn’t your usual lawn bowling! Come join us for some funky lawn bowling games on Friday, August 14th at 7pm! No sign up required. This is a members only event, but spectators are welcome!

Join us for our Civic Holiday Open Tournament on Monday, August 3rd! The tournament will be 3 8-end games of women’s or mixed pairs. There is a $20 registration fee per player, which will be used for prizes.

This tournament is open to non-GLBC members. Players can sign the sheet in the clubhouse to indicate intent to play (non-GLBC members can message/email us and we will add your name to the list). You can sign up as a team, or as a single player and be assigned a team on game day. Walk-ins on the day of the tournament are welcome, but players who have signed up take priority if the tournament is full.

Registration starts at 5pm on August 3rd and the tournament will start promptly at 5:30pm.

The Brothers Brewing Company Beer and Spritz Garden will be open from 5-10pm! Alcohol is not allowed on the greens but feel free to grab a drink after the tournament.

Spectators are always welcome! Hope to see you all there!

On Saturday, we hosted the District 7 Novice Aussie Pairs tournament. It was a beautiful day to have everyone out on the greens!

The top two teams from each of the women’s and men’s District 7 competition will move onto to the Ontario Provincial Championships in August. We are very happy to announce that one women’s team and one men’s team from the Guelph Lawn Bowling Club will be moving onto the Provincial Championships!

The summer heat is here! That can only mean one thing… it’s time for ice cream 🍨🍦

Ice Cream Sundae is on Sunday, July 12 starting at 10am.

We’ll play 2 x 10 end games – open pairs. Teams will be drawn with the exception of youth (under 18) who can choose their partner. There is a $5 entry fee; you can pay at the door.

There will be a break for ice cream between games. Everyone who plays goes home with ice cream!
