It's always with great heartache that Kynoch Adventures makes a Donation to Libearty Brown Bear Sanctuary in Romania.
Kynoch has added 1 new bear to our adopted clan of sanctuary bears! We now sponsor 5 bears, one for each of our guides! This is only possible through the guests visiting us to learn about our wild bears still roaming in Bella Coola.
The sanctuary is a hospice, not rehabilitation. It is truly heartbreaking to see the misery these bears endured in captivity before finding Sanctuary. Meet Bam, Chery, Enoch, Epizon and our newest clan member Victoria 😉. See everyone in 2023!

The Central Coast of BC offers some of the best Grizzly Bear Viewing in North America, particularly in The Great Bear Rainforest of British Columbia.
One of our favourite sightings has been when the Sow's bring their cubs down to feed, watching them maneuver across fallen logs and swim across the rivers and streams to follow mum, it's just priceless!
The cubs even sounds like little chainsaw's as they try to figure out who these people in rafts are staring at them. We keep a good distance with our professional Bear Viewing guides, who ensure respectful and safe practices when drifting down the Atnarko River to view the Bears.
