Massive congratulations to Joe Stewart who put on a amazing performance at yesterday’s Pick & Shovel Showdown. Running 15 laps (88.4KM) in 7:58:13 seconds, all while it was -16°c out 👏 👏

When Jason and I saw the weather we thought the record was safe but Joe had other plans. Joe will receive a $500 gift card to and we could not be happy to hand it over. What a show 👏

Registration for the 2026 Pick & Shovel Showdown opens October 17th at 6pm.

Come join us on January 24th for this one of a kind 8hr format. All the details can be found on our website or the Race Roster page linked in our Bio.

Run as much or as little as you like at your own pace. There will be chili, soups, quesadillas, and lots more food to keep people going.

We’re also offering up an additional $500 to the first female or male to break their divisional course record. We had some people come up close last year, let’s make it happen!

Registration for the 2025 Macintosh 10K closes tomorrow, Oct 16th at noon.

We’d love to have you join us for a fun morning on the McIntosh Run Singletrack Trail system.

This race is suitable for all levels of ability. There will be tons of prizes and giveaways, snacks, Athletic Brewing beverages, and good times.

Hi everyone, we have made the unfortunate call to cancel the 2025 Sissiboo Sizzler. The access restrictions to wooded areas look like they are here to stay for a while.

We will be sending all participants an email in the next couple of days with refund information.

We’ll be at Aerobics First this Sunday June 15th from 12:30-2:30pm for a Seaside Scramble early bib pick up.

We’ll have bibs and merchandise available for pickup allowing you to skip this process on race night.

The seaside Scramble is back for its 3rd year 🤙

This is one of our favourite races. A beautiful 10K course looping the whole of Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park, Some of Nova Scotia’s best views, post run BBQ, beach access and sunsets, all making for a magical and memorable evening.

If it’s your first trail run or your 50th this is a fun, social and unique race. This year’s race will be on the evening of Friday 20th June 2025.

Registration will open on Friday 03rd April 2025 at 6pm. We hope to see you there.

Less than 1 month to go until the 2025 Callous Crow 21km trail race.

Early reports indicate the trail is drying up nicely. The Crowbar Lake Wilderness Area team have the trail in amazing condition.
