We had a great week in Sydney at the NS Women’s Club Curling Championship! We finished with a 3-1 record, losing in the quarter final to Team Armstrong who went on to capture the title. Congratulations to Michelle and her team and all the best at the national in November!

We also want to thank the Sydney Curling Club ice crew, host committee and volunteers for putting on an excellent event.

A special shout to our coach, Andy for his time, hard work and making us laugh this season! It’s been a lot of fun.

This week we’re off to Cape Breton to wrap up the 2025-26 curling season with the Curling Club Women NS Provincial Championship.

The event is being held at the Sydney Curling Club from March 26-29, 2026. We can’t wait to get on the ice and get things started!

Pre-competition practice and game #1 versus Cormier (Schooner CC) start on Thursday.

As summer kicks off, we’re thrilled to announce a new Nova Scotia curling team hitting the ice for the 2025–26 season!

Amanda and Jocelyn are excited to welcome Stephanie Guzzwell and Katarina Hakansson to the team!

Both Steph and Kat are making their return to competitive curling, bringing a wealth of experience, talent, and energy.

🔹 Stephanie Guzzwell is a two-time Scotties participant representing Newfoundland & Labrador, a former Canadian Junior Champion, and a World Junior Silver Medalist.

🔹 Katarina Hakansson is a former Nova Scotia Mixed Champion and holds an impressive junior curling career right here at home.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome these two outstanding athletes back to the competitive circuit.
