Queer Hockey Nova Scotia (QHNS) is a hockey organization by and for queer hockey players in NS.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Registration is officially open on the QHNS website. It will remain open until May 31st.

You can sign up as a free agent or sign up as a team (Teams can have up to 15 players + 1 goalie)
Registration includes at least 4 games, a jersey and a swag bag

This tournament is for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members only. If you are an ally you can volunteer for time keeping positions and check in positions. 2SLGBTQIA+ community members will be considered first

PLEASE NOTE: The HFX Pride Cup is a mixed-level/beginner-friendly tournament with no checking. We do not separate the tournament by skill division and will therefore have skaters at all skill levels on the ice playing together. We require all participants to review the HFX Pride Cup 2026 Handbook and agree to the Code of Conduct prior to registering.

Get ready — the countdown is on! 🎉 The HFX Pride Cup ‘26 is officially hitting the ice at the
Halifax Forum from July 24th to July 26th, and we can’t wait to bring the community together
for another unforgettable weekend of hockey, Pride, and celebration.

Registration opens to the public April 24th, and we’ve got a few exciting updates this year!
QHNS members get exclusive early-bird access from April 17th to April 24th. Be sure to jump
in early and secure your spot! You’ll be asked to declare your chosen team upon registration so
start getting organized now!!
