At Free to Move, Brigitte has spent many years learning and breaking down the Afro-Latin Body Movements and has created easy exercises, accessible to everyone from first time dancers to professionals that over time will give you the flexibility, strength and body awareness to be able to gracefully “shake what your mama gave you.”

Brigitte also has an extensive knowledge of Salsa, especially Cuban Style salsa. She has created a program of classes that not only teaches steps and moves, but also works on rhythm, musicality, connecting with your partner, body movement, confidence and much more. To her learning steps and moves are only half of the equation, learning to dance on the beat, having fun, being able to improvise and connecting with your partner is equally as important and makes for a much more enjoyable dancing experience. Brigitte is also excited to announce that she will be teaching Angolan style Kizomba for the first time in Halifax! This sensual couples dance, often referred to as African Tango is slowly taking over the world with it’s beautiful music and dance. So join us for some seriously fun classes in a relaxed environment and start your journey towards becoming the best dancer that you can be!
